LNG Canada
Welcome
LNG Canada is proposing to build an LNG export terminal in Kitimat, British Columbia. The project includes the design, construction and operation of a natural gas liquefaction plant, and facilities for the storage and export of liquefied natural gas, including marine facilities and shipping.
The LNG Canada project brings Shell Canada, KOGAS, Mitsubishi Corporation and PetroChina Company Limited’s extensive development experience, technical depth, financial strength and access to markets required to be the leading LNG developer in Canada.
LNG Canada is committed to limiting the impact of construction and operations on the natural environment, with the goal of becoming a leading LNG developer in Canada.
LNG Canada’s vision is to work collaboratively with First Nations, the local community, non-governmental organizations, and local, provincial and national levels of government to achieve the proposed project, and deliver a project that offers a new source of competitively priced LNG to global markets, while providing benefits to Canada, British Columbia and its coastal region.
